I love this table! For a current school project I'm preparing a presentation about a new product. Since I currently work for an airline, the product I'm creating is a hypothetical new airline ... a steampunk airline - Zephyr Airways. (I might add that I have you in mind as a partner company for renovating my Airbus A320s to reflect the theme. haha!) Anyway - awesome work!!
I am really wanting to do some steam punk wood work. This is really nice. I think I would a add some more bolts and some gears but all in all very well done.
Custom Chris - I agree, but this family had two little ones and it was pushing it just to get the little handles that turn. One has already broken off twice. The good news is the children will get older.....
Great work from a fellow maker. I use caustic soda to age most of my timber works, dilute hydrochloric acid to neutralise the caustic, all sprayed on with a weed sprayer, gives great results. love your work!
Or you could go to Lowe's. Seriously, though, awesome craftsmanship! I loved seeing the chains, I first saw that technique of distressing on "The Furniture Guys" with Ed Feldman and Joe L'Erario! So, old school artistry AND nostalgia! LOL
