In a tiny house, every thing has to be multifunctional. So we built desks that very simply convert to a dining table.
NOTE: Plans coming very soon 2016
I LOVE THIS!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! The only thing I would do is add locking wheels to Mack it easier to move :) love!
ReplyDeleteI would add rail in the wall so whole thing can just be pulled out and then moved along the rail where needed. This should also make it more sturdy.
ReplyDeleteCut lists are great they save you big money. Most people forget cut lists. Thanks for the video.
ReplyDeleteSimply and elegantly brilliant. Love, love, love it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea! What about adding a latch to secure both tables once folded?
ReplyDeleteHow do I find the web site ? Great project ! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWe'd love to obtain those plans. We're looking for some creative ideas for a desk&dining combo.
ReplyDeleteI literally watched all of these videos in a row and love your house. It looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat idea ana, great job! i like the way the desk turns into a dining table nice touch. >:)...JP
ReplyDeleteAlways great to see anything you guys do. Thank you.
ReplyDeletecool, but honestly, why not just eat looking out the windows?
ReplyDeleteAs usual, nice video, thx
ReplyDeleteAs always, u rock Anna! Yurt Grrl
ReplyDeleteYou could add a hinge between the two desks and a track against the wall that they ran in so it kind of concertina out like a bifold door and that way it would be kind of supported when you drive at 100 mph through the back roads. Great idea, love it. Love the white on everything. Makes it clean and a lot more spacious.
ReplyDeletetoo cool - love this nifty idea :)
ReplyDeletewhat is the estimated cost to build something like this? assuming you had the tools.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! Super functional.
ReplyDeleteI just found this doing a search. Ther is no link to the website or the plan unless I'm missing something! Where are the plans?
ReplyDeleteWhat about a bathroom
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty and cute but where's a bathroom
ReplyDelete1000 videos have watched, and you guys give the same info than the more technical one but in way more simpler word... thank...
ReplyDeleteI have been modelling my tiny house on Sketchup for a while now but will LOVE to compare your plans to mine, it definitely will give me more confident to jump to the build.
do you know when about you are going to release them? are you gonna share the Sketchup model?
kind regards from New Zealand
i loved it!
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I find the bathroom and fridge?? Love love the desks.
ReplyDeleteThat will be perfect for my tiny cabin. I could use one side as a desk and the other side as a sewing table. Then when I change it, not only could it be a dining table but it could be a used as a cutting table for cutting fabric. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the plastic utensils. so cute
ReplyDeleteHi Ana. Do you post the Sketchup files on your web site? I looked around and couldn't find them. Are they up for purchase?
