Note the slightly tacky tablecloth. They still use oilcloth ones here. Often with garish designs on them. Not cheap, actually, as they do last for decades. Very practical -- but also definitely on the "loud" side. The Scots tend to do that, too, I have noticed.
So cool. I tried to upload one today of the boudoir, which doesn't translate into English, but it got hung up. Will try again. The rooms were his father's & his parents died & he took them over. He was kind of a performance artist for his time & this was a living museum when he was an old guy. To his memories, really. As he proceeded to die. I also got one of his office, which is pretty cool cuz he actually had a few visitors sometimes! And I put one of the staircase up on Dailymotion.
Lovely. Thanks
